Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi Anime

I watched my first ever Shoujo(?) Anime pron well more like the first ever "ecchi-harem-school life ova OAD." Honestly I started watching Yaoi anime (as you may know they're just ecchi...I think...well at least the one's I saw) before I ever saw a "Hentai" anime (god those were awful never watched since ⊙▂⊙*shivers*). There's news that Little Cheese had worked together with An Dercen/Primetime (ie: yaoi anime) to release an OAD for Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi the R18 otome game released in 2010(?). Well the 2 episodes are out and I just finished watching 2 days ago. My impression is that it was pretty boring and short. The story was pretty dumb as well, but honestly most "shoujo" anime I've seen are poorly written or just goddamn cheezy as hell. (；¬д¬) So I can't complain much plus the anime followed pretty closely to the game. Also despite being based off of a reverse harem game "Ikuto" the younger brother is the only one who gets to bone the chick. So don't expect all the guys to have a go. The animation was great total typical shoujo style, as for music heck I didn't even pay attention. I think the ending theme song is the same theme song used in the game that's all I can remember. I actually thought this "ecchi" anime directed towards women was quite similar to your average "guy" ecchi anime (panty flashing-->guy gets a boner, etc.). I guess the only difference is that you get to see the "guy's face" often during the "doing-it" scene. (¬_¬)

OH BTW, I'm sure people may already know this, but they plan to release an anime of Trick or Alice as well. A new age where girl's get to have prono Anime.

My beef with Dousei Kareshi ~Butterfly Lip

Yeah I just got my game today. You might be wondering why so fast...well this semester I'm in Japan as an exchange student. So that's how I got my game the day after the official release. Anyways this game really irritates me and I'm not a lone from the reviews on Amazon right now its rated 2 stars. I have to agree with most of the reviews this game is not worth all that money. What really bothered me is that the story is about cheating,  for that I found the main character really annoying.(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ FYI I only got this game because Kirishima Sou was the artist, but later found out she quit. >.> So the main character is living together with her boyfriend all lovey-dovey then sempai shows up and now she's all confused. What's there to be confused about just  because your boyfriend says he "can't marry you now cause he's pursuing his dream, but he plans to marry you in the future?" So why is she wavering? The only way to get the "other guy" is to cheat on her wonderful boyfriend there's no way around it. XP I mean come on who freak'n likes "cheating" unless you're one of those hos who like NTR. I've just had enough of all that "yandere" shit now it's NTR and recently now it's "okay for your boyfriend to kill you and live happy ever after in hell." (Referencing the "new" drama cd-->Boku ga kimi wo, koroshita riyuu) 
i DON'T CARE IF PEOPLE LIKE THIS CRAP, BUT THAT'S JUST SICK. Pretty soon everyone will be going "gagaga" over this shit? ಠ▃ಠ-->

Oh yeah another thing, this game does not have a lot of CG and I like "A LOT" of CG when I'm paying 3,000+ Yen for a game I expect 50-120 CGS. I was complaining about the lack of CG for Double Score well at least it had 37 CGs (w/o variation).
Dousei Kareshi only has 20 CGS!!!!!!!!щ(ಠ益ಠщ) I don't give a damn about all that freebie stuff (ok maybe a little), but if I'm going to be paying 3,000+ Yen for a game I expect there to be a lot of CG okay.

Ladies, this game is not worth all that money. You're better off playing "Double Score" and to all of you girls/guys? who bought the "limited edition" I feel sorry for you. (︶︹︺)

AND like what everyone already said the graphics are great; so I don't need to go into depth about how much I like the art although, I prefer Kirishima Sou's art much better because for some odd reason Kazuhi Himeno looks like his eyes are crossed...His eyes just look freakn' weird sometimes.「(°ヘ°) *shrugs*

Double Score ~Cattleya x Narcissus

I'm currently playing Double Score the second game. In fact I've never played the first game cause I found a few reviews that said the game was quite mediocre. Though I've listened to the drama cds before and the only reason why was because Hirakawa Daisuke was voicing Rui and Seiya. So that's why I saved up my money to buy the 2nd game and of course I played the Narcissus route first. XD In fact I'm not done playing his route since I just started, but I'm having so much fun! :D It's so funny when you come across the same old,  "we can't be together cause I'm your teacher and you're a student" and right after spouting that stuff he's like "I like you, please forget what I said" then continues on confessing his love with a kiss.  Right....pffft I found it funny maybe it's just me, but I had more laughs than "kyaaa-ing  ///>w<///" over the kiss scene.  Well that's it for now I'm goin' back to play my game. >:D

Art book sizes....blahblahblah

I got bored today so I took my art books out of my collection box to look through the beautiful pages and I noticed that a few of my books were smaller than the standard doujinshi size. Generally the largest doujinshi size A4 are used for art books though sometimes they're used for comic pages, but in rare cases. It is common though for art books to come in B5 size.  Actually most of my art books are that size, but I don't think I've ever seen any A5 art book with the exception of my mini sketch books that I own. Like I was saying I noticed that my "B5" books were actually irregular with some being wider or shorter than the average B5 size. As you can see the picture below the book on the top left is an average B5 doujinshi. The other 3 are supposed to be a B5, but are actually not. I myself don't mind at all since the art inside is beautiful, but I thought it was interesting since the doujinshi books that I purchase always come in the right size as stated when I purchased them. Though I have a feeling that the artists chose to pick an irregular size for their art books. Their A4 books are always in standard size so there's never any irregular sizes. I'm so happy that some of their A4 books came in hardcover so I don't need to worry about bent corners. This is the first time I've ever seen a "hardcover" doujinshi much less an art book. I've only seen official art books that come as hardcovers. Anyways I just like to comment on random things so yeah here's my rambling about my doujinshi books, which I will probably will talk about a lot since it's currently my obsession (slightly) and it helps with my boredom when there's no interesting game to play, anime to watch and manga to read. Doujinshi collecting helps me fill the gaps of a fangirl's fantasy of bishonen anime/manga characters and such. XD

Eternal Wish Otome Game

I finally got my copy of "Eternal Wish" an original doujin game from Princess Crown that is partially voiced! XD  I really do like this group's works because I love how beautiful their cgs are. This is a SLG game so you have to complete certain tasks to win the guy you are pursuing. I'm having a bit of trouble since I'm using ITH/AGTH and it can't pull text from images(obviously) so I'm stuck. I still have no luck with a walkthrough so I'm just playing the game blindly hoping I will get a cg. But somehow I managed to complete Karma's route I still don't remember which buttons I pressed...^^;;;  Anyways here's the summary I found  of the game at VNDB:

Story:
Because of her dislike of socializing, as well as the fact that she heavily immerses herself in alchemy, Iris is out of tune from others. Right before her, a messenger from the castle appears.

Receiving a request from her kingdom to complete creating the illusory gem, the "Ritos", which has the ability to lift any curse, Iris finds herself perplexed.

She eventually decides to take on the request in order to prove that she is a skilled alchemist.

By meeting wonderful people and receiving assistance from her tutors, her positive feelings eventually blossom into feelings of love...

--They even begin to profoundly change her destiny.


 *SPOILER ALERT*

So like the character descriptions go Karma is a Vampire who is a Alchemist assistant. Due to bad childhood memories he doesn't like people other than Iris (heroine). Iris on the other hand is too preoccupied with her alchemy studies that she is clueless about things such as like and such(my interpretation). So in the game she start realizing her feelings for Karma and after the experience of having her blood sucked one night she is in heat. Magically Karma appears like the Vampire that he is helps her "relieve"her pain.

Afterwards she questions why he did that and Karma replies causally because she wanted it. Iris feels hurt that it was out of obligation as her assistant that he willingly does whatever she wants. They continue their affair and each time she is depressed, and Karma realizes this too. So he questions her if she plans to run away from him (leave his side). He tells her he will do whatever she wants, but later changes his mind and tells her that he if she plans to leave his side than it's okay with him as long as she is happy he is happy even if she's not there by his side. An upset Iris replies why is he going to such lengths and she feels hurt again that it's out of obligation. Karma finally tells her that he's afraid of wanting to hold her because every time he does she is always sad afterwards. Karma tells her that she is the cruel one because he's the one who's always telling her he "likes" her, but she's the one not saying anything. So basically the idiot girl apparently forgot or didn't take seriously all those times he told her he liked her. Iris feels bad for hurting him so she reveals her true feelings. Karma is so happy that he starts

crying tears of joy. I actually like a guy that cries I find it really cute and sweet. :3 I haven't finished the other 2 guys routes but I have a feeling that Karma is still going to be my favorite. I think he has the cutest character design and he's so sweet~! :3 I just didn't like his voice that much, but the voice actor did a good job. :) I know there's this obsession with bad ass guys/yandere, but I personally prefer the sweet nice guy than the "I'll kick you ass" type guy. I mean in real life wouldn't the nice guy be better anyways? I'm not talking about "yandere" guys who looks nice & talks nice on the outside, but are really twisted on the inside. This is really popular in the otome market where "nice guys" turn evil. I really wish they would stop that it's getting stale. :P
